1) Please keep the original PAN card handy as it is mandatory for conducting Video KYC.
2) The one time password (OTP) to complete the eKYC will be sent only on the email address and mobile number registered with Aadhaar/UIDAI.
3) Your Standard Chartered account number, registered mobile number and email address provided by you above All the details entered here should match with the same recorded with the Bank .
4) Once your residence address change request is confirmed by Standard Chartered bank, the address will be changed for all products that you are currently holding with Standard Chartered .
5) In case you had opted to use your residence address as your communication address as per existing Standard Chartered Bank records, the residence address confirmed here will also be updated as your mailing/ communication address. .
6) Any of the following conditions will lead to rejection of the residence address change request by Standard Chartered Bank. For such cases, kindly visit the nearest Standard Chartered Bank branch.
6.1) Accounts not with "single" operation mandate, i.e, operative mandate e.g "Jointly"/"Any two to Operate".
6.2) Accounts not in "Operative/ Active" status .
6.3) Dormant accounts.
7) Ensure your personal details (Date of Birth, Name) recorded with Standard Chartered Bank matches with your Aadhaar records. .
8) Do not share the OTP received from UIDAI or the Bank with anyone.
9) Video KYC will have to be completed within 3 working days of the submission of your request. .
10) Ensure that you are within India while submitting your address change/confirmation request here.
11) Ensure you are in a good network area / have a strong internet connection for the video KYC call. Standard Chartered Bank will not be liable in case the call gets dropped due to low internet connectivity.
12) During the Video KYC process no third person other than you, the client whose address needs to be changed is allowed. Standard Chartered Bank will reject such residence address change request and deactivate the Video KYC link connectivity .
13) This is an option to carry out residence address change remotely. In case you do not wish to use Aadhaar eKYC, kindly visit the nearest Standard Chartered Bank branch.
14) Notwithstanding the above, in case of any mismatch in details given during the process or unsuccessful Video KYC, this request is liable to be rejected by Standard Chartered Bank.
